Updates regarding Coastal Center for Collaborative Health

Last updated 3/13/2020

We are here for you

We understand this is a challenging time for most people as things are constantly changing

We are staying open as long as possible

Please reach out if you have a level of fear or anxiety that is concerning to you or difficult to manage

How Coastal Center is adapting:

  • Throughout the day we are spraying the office with disinfecting spray for soft surfaces
  • Throughout the day we are wiping hard surfaces with disinfecting wipes (including door handles)
  • Each child gets their own tote of play therapy supplies
  • Disinfecting wipes, disinfecting spray, and hand sanitizer is available to each client to use in office. Remember to balance the use of hand sanitizer with the use of lotion, disinfecting wipes, and disinfecting spray to minimize pain and dryness in hands.
  • Restrooms have disinfecting hand soap and paper towels available for use
  • All staff are following the 20 second guideline for hand washing
  • Due to school closures, please know that we welcome your children to come to the office if you don't have anyone to watch them for your appointment. Please call us and let us know ahead of your appointment so we can prepare a room.
  • We will continue to follow our attendance policy. If you or someone in your home is sick, please call us ASAP so we can cancel/reschedule your appointment. We do not penalize clients for late-cancellations due to illnesses. If it is not an emergency or an illness-based cancellation/reschedule, we do ask for 24-hours notice so we can adjust schedules.
  • Most therapists are offering online sessions if you are unable to come into the office. Please refer to our online therapy page for details.
